Yampa Valley Golf Course Lessons and Instruction

The Yampa Valley Golf Course offers golf instruction for all ages and abilities. Private and group instruction is available from one of our three staff PGA\LPGA Professionals. During the golf season, clinics for both men and women are offered and a Junior Golf Camp is offered during the summer months as well. Please stop in and introduce your self and let our staff share our expertise, knowledge and love for the game of golf with you.

Adult Private Golf Lesson: 1 hour $45   1/2 hour $25
Junior Private Golf Lesson: 1/2 hour $20

Yampa Valley Golf Professional Staff:

Brett Etzler
Director of Golf

Brett and his family came to the Yampa Valley Golf Course in the spring of 2005 from Reynolds Plantation Golf Resort in Greensboro Georgia. He is an Indiana native and began his professional career at Ferris State University and is a graduate of the PGA of America's Golf Professional Management Program. Brett's ten years of experience as a PGA Professional both at the National Course at Reynolds and at the Yampa Valley Golf Course has developed him into an excellent teacher of the game as well an accomplished player. Brett assists with our Junior Golf program and is actively involved teaching our youth and membership at our club.

Both Ann Marie and Brett are part of the Yampa Valley Golf Course Pro Shop Staff and are qualified club fitters and are highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the game. Please allow our staff to serve you and make your golfing experience a great one at the Yampa Valley Golf Course.

Ann Marie Roberts
Class A LPGA Golf Professional

Ann Marie is a native of Craig Colorado and the Yampa Valley Golf Course. Her professional golf career began in Massachusetts at the Country Club of Wilberham where she was an Assistant Head Professional for 8 years. She returned to her roots in the spring of 2005 to join the professional staff at the golf course she grew up on. Ann Marie is an accomplished player…her college golf team finished first at the NAIA Div. II Championships while at college Nebraska…she currently holds two course records and has played in a LPGA Tour event. She is an outstanding instructor and loves to teach the game of golf to all levels of players. She is also our Junior Golf Coordinator and is currently the Girls Golf Coach at Moffat County High School.
